Therapeutic Adventures

For over 40 years, Therapeutic Adventures has provided adaptive outdoor programs that empower individuals of all abilities to experience skiing, paddling, fishing, cycling, and more. Based in Charlottesville, VA, their volunteer team creates safe, inclusive experiences that foster confidence, healing, and connection with nature.

Virginia Wheelin' Sportsmen

Wheelin’ VA Sportsman provides accessible hunting, fishing, and outdoor opportunities for individuals with mobility impairments. Their programs include guided deer hunts and trout fishing, making the outdoors possible for those who thought it was out of reach.

Wintergreen Adaptive Sports

Wintergreen Adaptive Sports offers skiing, snowboarding, kayaking, and other outdoor programs for people of all abilities. Their instructors and volunteers make adventure on the slopes and water safe, inclusive, and accessible to everyone.

Nelson County Parks & Recreation

Through our partnership with Nelson County Parks & Recreation, we offer guided Track Chair Tunnel Tours along the historic Blue Ridge Tunnel Trail. With their support in scheduling and trail access, individuals with mobility challenges can experience this unforgettable adventure.
